Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam and Layla Series
The Vampire Navy SEAL: Sam & Layla series is a completed seven-book paranormal military romance featuring a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers love story set in a high-stakes world of dangerous immortals and elite special forces.
Layla is a trained vampire hunter—smart, stubborn, and lethal. Sam Mason is everything she despises: a powerful vampire and a Navy SEAL sworn to protect a world that fears his kind. What begins as a hunt turns into an uneasy alliance when forces beyond their control threaten everything Layla holds dear. As danger escalates, trust becomes fragile, lines blur, and attraction turns deadly.
Spanning seven novels, Sam and Layla’s story unfolds as a long-form romantic arc filled with sharp banter, forced proximity, found family, and escalating action. Each book deepens the emotional stakes while expanding the military paranormal world around them, building toward a hard-earned, deeply satisfying payoff. The series must be read in order.
The Hunted, Book One in the series, received a 2022 International Readers’ Favorite Gold Medal, and the series has resonated with readers who love immersive worlds, emotionally driven romance, and characters who fight as fiercely for love as they do for survival.
What readers are saying:
“Author S.B. Alexander certainly knows how to pitch a romance to keep her readers turning page after page. Alexander’s intricate portrayal of the tough and hard-edged Layla, and her journey as she slowly loses her inhibitions around the tempting vampire Navy SEAL, offers readers a chance to really sink into the tension. So when the pair finally come together, the payoff is all the more enjoyable and emotive in all the right ways. A highly recommended read for PNR fans everywhere.” K.C. Finn – Readers’ Favorite
